The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention provided funds to the Iowa Department of Public Health to address opioid overdose in Iowa. The Consortium is assisting with assessing the current capability and performance of service delivery related to opioid use in Iowa to establish a baseline against which future activities can be compared. The Consortium will also assist in identifying activities and trainings that will be beneficial to address opioid use and overdose in Iowa.
